LOOFTLIGHTER electric coal igniter

The LOOFTLIGHTER coal igniter will burn coal, briquettes or even wood with the help of a hot 600 °C air flow.

Warranty

Looftlighter® is guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects. Shipping costs are not covered. The warranty is also void in the event of unauthorised modification of the device. Warranty claims must be submitted together with the purchase receipt. The warranty does not cover self-inflicted failures, such as melting of the front part of the Looftlighter®. This warranty is based on normal and reasonable non-commercial use and operation of the Looftlighter. The warranty does not apply if the Looftlighter is used for commercial or similar purposes.

ORDER. Place the tip of the Looftlighter against the coals (2 - 3 mm away)

REMOVE.  When sparks appear or the coals begin to glow

CONTINUE. Continue to direct the air flow to the same place (~ 1 min)

IMPORTANT. Coal and wood lit in the Looftlighter will quickly heat up to very high temperatures. The heat emanating from them is absorbed by the Looftlighter. The outer tube (with holes) is therefore made of aluminium. Its only purpose is to protect against heat.

Aluminium has the advantage that it does not heat up to dangerous levels and cools down quickly. However, aluminium also has a disadvantage: it can melt if the Looftlighter is left in contact with coals/wood for too long, so it is very important to pull the burner away when sparks appear or the coals begin to glow.

If you have not followed the above instructions and have kept the Looftlighter attached to the coal or wood for too long (and the aluminium has melted as a result), we regret that this will invalidate the warranty.
